Diakonhjemmet foundation now becomes a partner in Health2B and an actor in the arena for health innovation. This marks an important milestone in the development of sustainable solutions for the health services.

Health2B is a public-private partnership and a physical interaction arena in the Research Park, which facilitates open innovation across businesses, function, technology and expertise. In Health2B, owners of needs and the healthcare industry meet on equal footing and with the same vision: To create the healthcare service of the future together.
The deacon home brings breadth and experience
Managing director Ingunn Moser of the Diakonhjemmet foundation sees Health2B as a good arena for developing needs-based solutions that strengthen the quality and efficiency of health services.
- Our breadth, with primary and specialist healthcare, university education and extensive research programmes, makes us a valuable partner for other businesses in health and care, says Moser. She believes that an arena such as Health2B provides good meeting places for collaboration.
Focus on patient needs and practical solutions
As a partner, Diakonhjemmet wants to contribute to the development of technology that improves health services. The development will be based on the patients' needs and the employees' practical experiences.

The Diakonhjemmet foundation operates and develops extensive service offerings within health, care, education and research.
The Deacon Home's activities include:
- Diakonhjemmet Omsorg AS operates and develops services within care for the elderly and children/family.
- Diakonhjemmet hospital AS is a local hospital in Oslo. The hospital receives patients from the entire health region within rheumatic diseases and psychopharmacology and has national expertise in rheumatology rehabilitation. The hospital has an extensive research activity. The hospital is the host institution for the REMEDY research centre.
- VID university of applied sciences AS has study programs and research in health and social studies, diaconate, theology and management subjects, and cultural and religious studies at all levels from bachelor to PhD. VID has campuses in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Tromsø.
- Fagskolen Diakonova AS is an ideal vocational school with study programs in health and care in Oslo and Bergen.
