Doctoral exam 26.3: Can a training app help patients with osteoarthritis?

How can we treat more patients when the need for healthcare is increasing – and the number of healthcare professionals is not increasing as quickly?
Can technology make treatment more accessible and as good as when it is provided by a physiotherapist?
And what do physiotherapists actually think about digital follow-up?
These are some of the questions that physiotherapist Lars Martinsen has investigated in his doctoral thesis at Diakonhjemmet Hospital.
Now he will take his doctoral exam on Thursday, March 26th – and you are welcome to listen!
Martinsen will give a lecture titled: "DIGITAL 'DIVINE' OR DIGITAL DIVIDE IN HEALTHCARE"
Defense of the thesis, "Digital health technologies in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and osteoarthritis in primary physiotherapy care"
Here, Martinsen will present his research and answer questions from an international evaluation committee.
Welcome to an interesting day of research, discussion and new perspectives on the future of healthcare.
