Welcome to the trial lecture and defense by Kristine Røren Nordén on 30 October, from 10:15!

In her doctorate at Diakonhjemmet Hospital and the University of Oslo, Kristine researched how high-intensity exercise can contribute to better physical fitness and a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease in patients with inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis and psoriatic arthritis.

The topics for the defense include, among other things:

- High-intensity interval training (HIIT) as a treatment method
- How aerobic capacity is measured and improved in patients with joint diseases
- Health benefits such as increased fitness, better cholesterol levels and lower body fat

This is a unique opportunity to learn more about personalized treatment through physical activity and what opportunities it offers for patients with rheumatic diseases.
