Rehabilitation - meeting March 18

Gathering of rehabilitation researchers, users and administration

Rehabilitation is important for the individual, and research is being conducted on whether and to what extent it can save society from lost labor and thus large sums of money. We congratulate the Virke Rehab R&D network on 10 important years! March 18th was a milestone for the network and the RehabNytte study, which promotes research and development in rehabilitation.

Rikke Helene Moe, on behalf of the project group, presented the current status of the RehabNytte study, and the results we have achieved so far.

– After 7 years of RehabNytte, we are now getting the results of the research out into the world. Through Virke and FFO - the Norwegian Federation of Disabled Persons, the results are already being used in political discussions about priorities for rehabilitation centers in the future, says Moe.

The network's first coordinator, Hege Bruun-Hanssen, shared the story of how the network and this important study first came about. In the photo, in addition to Moe and Bruun-Hansen, we see the previous coordinators – Hege, Hanne Ludt Fossmo and Tarja Rajalahti Kvalheim – and the new coordinator, Thomas Johansen, and the faithful user collaborators in the project Andreas Habberstad and Anne Elisabeth Simonsen. Here we should have had the entire project group, says Rikke, and thanks Mari Klokkerud, Idun Eid, Anders Orpana, Tor Christian Fagertun, Ingvild Kjeken and Hanne Dagfinrud for their enormous efforts. – Together we will continue to drive the rehabilitation field forward, they write on LinkedIn.
