REMEDY researchers made their mark at this year's MUSS conference
Several researchers from the REMEDY Center contributed insightful presentations at the 13th National Musculoskeletal Health Research Conference (MUSS) 2024
The conference brings together expertise from all over the country and this year's conference is the 13th of its kind.
Ingvild Kjeken and Anne Therese Tveter represented the Happy Hands study , where they explore innovative approaches to hand training to improve the quality of life for people with hand osteoarthritis. Unni Olsen presented results from the Jobbglidningsstudien , which investigates how to develop a new, safe and feasible patient pathway for patients with hand osteoarthritis. Nina Østerås gave an insight into the ReMonit study , where patients with rheumatic disease are followed up via digital home monitoring. Joachim Sagen shared updated recommendations from EULAR for user participation. Rikke Helene Moe and Sella Arrestad Provan, each led a session.

The conference offered a diverse program that covered topics such as digital health technology, rehabilitation, and patients' role in their own care. Several sessions were dedicated to innovative treatment, while presentations on new treatment recommendations, patient self-management, and workplace adaptation demonstrated the broad spectrum of research that characterizes the musculoskeletal health field.
