Great interest in the research network RECONNECT

Photo of panel discussion

The organizers were pleased that the hall was full when the seminar took place on November 25th.

There were many contributors who collectively provided an insightful picture of how to avoid the pilot cemetery.

The program included a presentation from South-Eastern Health on innovation and how to make medical equipment accessible.

Experiences in bringing medical apps to market were the starting point for the panel discussion: How can we avoid the "pilot graveyard"?

The seminar was led by Tuva Moseng, head of RECONNECT, Anne Therese Tveter, initiator of the network, and Marie Skovli Pettersen, advisor in the network and responsible for the websites and work package three.

This is how they summarize some of what they found positive about the seminar:

  • Many participants who met, exchanged experiences and made contacts
  • South-East Health shared their perspectives on the use of digital tools in research and clinical practice
  • We received an update on the legislation, with good information about the order in which the different steps must be taken when developing medical devices
  • Elin shared her experiences with developing apps and the process of bringing them to market

See more on RECONNECT's website ! The website is intended to be a central source of information for everyone working with decentralized clinical trials in South-Eastern Norway, with updates on activities, seminars and access to useful resources.

Here are some of the light sheets that were shared with the congregation:
