Webinar! Can only be viewed on May 23rd from 0830

Welcome to the webinar about the climate crisis and the role of the health sector.
You will meet physician and researcher Lena Bugge Nordberg in this webinar!

Man-made climate and nature destruction is the greatest health threat we face.

There is no doubt that we absolutely need to make major changes if we are to be able to live good lives in the years to come.

The health sector is responsible for significant climate damage and nature loss.

What can we do to limit the damage we do?

In our sector, it is important that the changes we make do not harm patients.

The British Medical Journal (BMJ) has recently launched an interactive database where they collect research that shows what we can do in clinical practice to reduce our carbon footprint. Here you will find articles that everyone in the healthcare sector should read to help lower their carbon footprint.

Changes must occur both at the system level, but also at the individual level.

We can, among other things: Reduce overdiagnosis and overtreatment, choose the equipment that has the lowest carbon footprint, and choose the treatment option that has the lowest carbon footprint.

Watch the webinar and gain more insight into how the healthcare sector can contribute to sustainability!

NB! This webinar can only be viewed on 23 May from 0830.

The event is free, and space will be reserved for 130 good colleagues at Deichman in Bjørvika.

We also hope that many will register digitally, so that everyone can experience the highlights of EULAR 2025.
