MUS 2025

On November 13–14, 2025, we will gather at Clarion Hotel Oslo Airport, Gardermoen for this year's major meeting place for everyone interested in musculoskeletal health. Whether you are a researcher, clinician, healthcare professional, user or otherwise involved in the field, the conference will provide a unique opportunity to network, share experiences and gain inspiration.

The conference is interdisciplinary and runs over two eventful days. The program includes:

  • Status update on the treatment of non-specific back pain and inflammatory rheumatic diseases , followed by an engaging panel discussion.
  • Presentation of new intervention studies showing how people on sick leave can return to work more quickly.
  • Research on sarcopenia – why we lose muscle mass with age, what happens to our muscles, and the connection to joint pain and osteoarthritis .
  • New findings about underlying mechanisms of pain problems .
  • Dedicated focus on research dissemination – how we can reach a wider audience with our knowledge.

In addition to invited speakers, there will be open lectures and poster presentations based on submitted abstracts, showcasing fresh and current research from across the field. Awards will also be given during the conference for best poster presentation and best open lecture .

Participation provides approved hours/course credits for several professions .
