If you sleep poorly, you can have more pain in your hands

People with handrosis struggling with sleep report severe pain - both in their hands and elsewhere in the body. Why this is so, the researchers do not know yet.
It is difficult to get through the day when both joints and sleep fail. Now new research from Norway shows that poor sleep and severe pain often go hand in hand in people with hand -arthritis.
- The worse people slept, the more pain they reported. The pain applied to both hands and in the body in general, says Daniel Huseby Bordvik, a researcher at Diakonhjemmet Hospital.
The study has followed close to 300 people with handrosis for several years.
