Great interest in the RECONNECT research network

Photo of panel discussion

The organizers were satisfied that the hall was full when the seminar started on 25 November.

There were many contributors who together gave an insightful picture of how to avoid the pilot cemetery.

The program included a presentation from Helse Sør-Øst on innovation and how to make medical equipment available.

Experiences in getting medical apps onto the market were the starting point for the panel discussion: How should we avoid the "pilot graveyard"?

The seminar was led by Tuva Moseng, head of RECONNECT, Anne Therese Tveter initiator of the network and Marie Skovli Pettersen, advisor in the network and responsible for the websites and work package three.

This is how they summarize some of what they thought was positive about the seminar:

  • Many participants met and exchanged experiences and made contacts
  • Helse Sør-East talked about their perspectives on the use of digital tools in research and clinical practice
  • We received an update on the legislation, with good information on the order in which the various steps must be taken when developing medical equipment
  • Elin shared her experiences with developing apps and the process of getting them onto the market

Websites

See more on RECONNECT's website ! The websites will be a central source of information for everyone working with decentralized clinical studies in Health South-East, with updates on activities, seminars and access to useful resources.

Here are some of the sheets of light that were shared with the congregation:
