The clinic for rheumatology, outpatient clinic and research has had its status renewed as an EULAR Center of Excellence. The clinic received this status in 2008 and has had it ever since. The status is granted for five years at a time, based on scientific activity in the previous 5 years.
This was celebrated with marzipan cake for all employees associated with our clinic in Villaen on Friday 2 February.
EULAR itself writes on its website: "EULAR collates a register of the top research centers in European rheumatology with a three-fold goal: To develop a group of first-class research centers for active researchers, to enable the exchange of fellows' research projects , and to link with Brussels.”
