The Clinic for Rheumatology, Outpatient Clinic and Research has had its status as a EULAR Center of Excellence renewed. The clinic received this status in 2008 and has held it ever since. The status is granted for five years at a time, based on scientific activity in the previous 5 years.
This was celebrated with a marzipan cake for all employees associated with our clinic in Villaen on Friday, February 2nd.
EULAR itself writes on its website: "EULAR collates a register of the top research centers in European rheumatology with a three-fold goal: To develop a group of first-class research centers for active researchers, to enable the exchange of fellows' research projects, and to link with Brussels."
