ABOUT THE PROJECT
The existing EULAR recommendation for non-pharmacological core treatment of hip and knee osteoarthritis was published in 2013. After this, many new clinical studies have been carried out. There is therefore a need to update this recommendation.
WHO CAN JOIN?
An international multidisciplinary working group of 25 people (researchers, healthcare personnel and user representatives) from 15 European countries has been set up to update this recommendation.
WHAT DOES THE STUDY INCLUDE?
The working group follows EULAR's standard procedures for updating recommendations. This involves, among other things, updating the research questions, carrying out a systematic literature search and review, a revision of the recommendations in the form of a consensus process and publication of updated recommendations. The working group will also make plans for the dissemination and implementation of the recommendations.
