Green Congress will be held for the fourth time, 21 June 2024 at Deichman Bjørvika. True to tradition, the event opens with an environmental lecture. This year we have been lucky enough to bring CICERO researcher Bob van Oort with us.

Professor Nina Østerås, head of the Unit for Health Services Research, gave an abstract presentation about the SAMBA study's eight-year link to the prosthesis register. 

In Marthe Kirkesæther Brun's doctoral work lies the key to preventing disease flare-ups in individuals with chronic inflammatory disease: The dosage of the biological drug infliximab should be adjusted over time, based on measurements of the drug's concentration in the blood.

The point-giving course in user participation in medical and healthcare research was held at the Eitri Health Incubator at Haukeland Hospital.

Rehabilitation is important for the individual, and research is being done on whether and to what extent it can save society from lost labor and thus large sums of money. We congratulate the R&D network in Virke Rehab on 10 important years! 18 March was a special day for the network and the RehabNytte study, which promotes research and development in rehabilitation.

The research seminar opened with center manager Espen A. Haavardsholm presenting the rich annual report for REMEDY 2023. Achievements of young researchers and development in the individual projects, as well as public communication, financial cooperation, etc., were mentioned with pride. REMEDY marked its second year in 2023. The research centre's overall aim is to improve treatments for those living with rheumatological and musculoskeletal diseases. Here you can read about some of what happened in 2023!

A closing meeting for the BRIDGE study was held on 4 March at Gardermoen. Professor Ingvild Kjeken has been the project manager for the study, which has taken place at eight rehabilitation centers in the specialist health service in Norway, and a total of 374 patients have participated.

Research from the REMEDY center at Diakonhjemmet hospital gives hope for a more predictable everyday life for patients with chronic inflammatory disease.
